The character designs for Last Year, an upcoming cooperative survival horror game slated for release in November 2016.

Last Year takes archetypal characters from teen slasher films and gives them abilities and classes, then sends players out into the darkness with the goal of finding each other and escaping. Oh, but one player is the killer, and they’ve got three character classes to select from and the ability to unspawn at any time and hide from the others to jumpscare and attempt to kill them. It’s a 5-v.-1 experience!

It’s a game that appears to both lovingly parody and pay homage to the films that inspired it, so if you like cheesy slasher films from the 1980s-1990s, this game might be right up your alley. You may also like this if you enjoyed Until Dawn and love putting hapless teenagers who don’t particularly get along in increasingly dangerous situations.
